An intensive 11-day program inside India's film and creative industries, for selected international students and professionals.
India produces more films annually than any other country on earth. Its three distinct cinema ecosystems, Bollywood in Mumbai, Tollywood in Hyderabad, and the emerging animation and VFX industry across Delhi and Noida, represent one of the most dynamic and accessible creative industries in the world.
The India Film, Animation & VFX Immersion is an 11-day residential academic program designed for international students and young professionals in film, animation, VFX, media production, and related disciplines. It is developed in direct partnership with Marwah Studios in Film City Noida, India's largest integrated film and media production complex.
This program is not a sightseeing itinerary with studio visits attached. It is a structured academic experience: daily workshops led by working industry professionals, on-set access, masterclasses with directors and producers, and formal sessions on the Indian film and animation industry as a business ecosystem.
Participation is by application only. Each cohort is limited to 20 participants, selected through a review of academic background and statement of purpose.
India's film industry produces over 1,500 films annually across more than 20 languages, more than Hollywood and more than any other country. Understanding India's cinema is no longer optional for any serious student of film, media, or storytelling.
India's VFX and animation sector has contributed to some of the most technically demanding productions in global cinema, including major Hollywood franchises. Students who engage with this ecosystem gain insight no classroom or online course can provide.
Marwah Studios in Film City Noida houses studios, post-production suites, animation labs, and a full academic institution, the Asian Academy of Film and Television. This partnership gives participants access not available through standard channels.
The program is structured around two complementary pillars: academic depth and direct industry access. Neither is sacrificed for the other.
